Introduction to Information & Referral (I&R)
- Definition: A process through which individuals are provided with information on available programs and services and referred to the appropriate service providers.
- Purpose: To connect people with the necessary resources to meet their needs.
- Key Concept: Helping individuals access the support they require for better outcomes.

Options Counseling is a person-centered service that helps individuals, especially older adults and people with disabilities, understand their options and make informed decisions regarding long-term services and supports.
