Robert M. Greer Center Awarded National Association for the Dually Diagnosed Accreditation

The Robert M. Greer Center, managed by Liberty of Oklahoma Corporation, has become the first program of its kind to be awarded accreditation from the National Association for the Dually Diagnosed (NADD).

On May 9, 2012, at 3:36 PM EST, Liberty Healthcare Corporation announced affiliate company Liberty Healthcare Corporation of Oklahoma’s program at the Robert M. Greer Center is the first-ever program to be awarded accreditation from the National Association for the Dually Diagnosed (NADD).

The Greer Center is a state-owned, specialized short-term residential program for adults with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental illness and/or severe behavioral challenges. Since 1999, the Center has been managed by Liberty of Oklahoma Corporation, an affiliate of Liberty Healthcare Corporation, on behalf of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Liberty provides behavioral stabilization, mental health services, and pre-and post-placement coordination on behalf of the program.

In a press release from Business Wire, Dr. Robert J. Fletcher, Founder, and CEO of NADD stated, “we are pleased that Liberty of Oklahoma/Robert M. Greer Center has received the first NADD Accreditation. Liberty of Oklahoma/Robert M. Greer Center has earned the NADD Accreditation by substantially meeting the high standards NADD has established. This designation, the NADD seal of approval, indicates that Liberty of Oklahoma/Robert M. Greer Center provides quality services for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities co-occurring with mental illness.”
