About John Beck
John Beck, Esq., is Senior Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer and a member of Liberty’s Executive Team. John oversees and is accountable for Liberty’s legal matters, including state/county and MCO client contracts, procurements/RFPs, litigation management, vendor and IT contracts, employment agreements, risk management, and insurance. As Liberty’s Chief Compliance/Privacy Officer, he is also responsible for Liberty’s Compliance Program and providing guidance and oversight on matters relating to adherence to HIPAA privacy requirements.
John has 30 years of legal experience, primarily in the healthcare sector. His specialties include Medicaid and commercial managed care, PBM/pharmacy, self-funded plans, and stop-loss insurance. John also has extensive experience in all types and aspects of contracting, provider and vendor dispute resolution, state agency issues, litigation management, compliance, procurements, fair hearings, regulatory interpretations, holding company filings, and vendor relations.
John earned his Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington & Jefferson College. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 1991.
