The National Association for the Dually Diagnosed (NADD) recently renewed its accreditation of the Robert M. Greer Center of Enid, OK, for an additional three years.

The Greer Center is a state-owned, specialized short-term residential program for adults with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental illness and/or severe behavioral challenges. Since 1999, the Center has been managed by Liberty of Oklahoma Corporation, an affiliate of Liberty Healthcare Corporation, on behalf of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Liberty provides behavioral stabilization, mental health services, and pre-and post-placement coordination on behalf of the program.

In 2012, the Greer Center became the first-ever program to receive NADD accreditation, which was designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of services provided to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities co-occurring with mental illness. The program qualified for accreditation based on an evaluation of treatment plans, crisis prevention and intervention, and ethical conduct.
